Determining the level of stress among police officer is very important. This is because it is associated with the research conducted by previous researchers about the level of stress in the work and career. Happy workers will have a positive attitude and behaviour. However, if police officer got stress, they cannot concentrate to their work. There are lots of theories about the stress in work and work place. Those theories elaborated about different factors that contribute to the level of stress. This study is using the theory of effort reward imbalance model factors by Johannes Siegrist (1996, 2008). The theory focuses on what the job or professional role has offer the individual. Part of individual has to lead to a corresponding reward on the part of the employer. An imbalance here increases the risk of ill health. Through work the individual is able to contribute with her performance and receive a reward. work also entails social belonging. How these potentially positive conditions are realizes depends on whether they are based on mutuality and fairness. This study is using workload, psychological and physical, role in employment, working environment and relationship at work place as a motivator theory. The study indicates that the overall level of stress among police officer is at satisfactory level.
