Health care places a vital role in the development of countries around the world. Healthy citizens will be able to contribute both physically and mentally, hence improving the outcomes and the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of countries. Health care services can be provided by both the government (Public Health Care) and private sector. In Malaysia, the government spends a lot of money and effort in ensuring high level of health care among Malaysians. In this regards, government of Malaysia has established public hospitals and clinics all over the country. Putrajaya Health Clinic (PHC) was established in the year 2000 with the objective to provide quality health care services to residents around the Putrajaya vicinity. On average, about 500 outpatients visit PHC on daily basis. Therefore, it is important for PHC management in ensuring quality of medical services that they provides to the patients. This study employed SERVQUAL methodology to measure the effectiveness of service quality provided by PHC. A total of 5 dimensions were measured which includes responsiveness, tangibility, reliability assurance and empathy. A total of 154 completed questionnaires were analysis using SPSS software to answer the research objectives. Overall, the findings reveal that PHC is providing good public health care services to the patients that have visited PHC. This is proven by the high value of correlation scores. However, the research suggest few recommendations to the management of PHC in making sure the quality of services provided is in line with PHC’s vision and mission.
