This paper provides an insight into the critical success factors (CSFs) influencing the implementation of business process reengineering (BPR) initiatives in government agencies. The purpose of BPR project is to improve services provided by the government agencies. As this approach for improvement involves changes in various aspects and entities in an organization, factors that influence the implementation of BPR needs to be identified and measured. This study aims to identify and highlight the CSFs to facilitate BPR initiatives in the Malaysian public sector. By identifying the related CSFs, government agencies could take necessary actions to ensure successful implementation.
