Peers’
influence has been discussed in many studies. However, there was a small number
of the research which emphasised peers’ influence in sex education. This study
examined the relationship between peers’ influence and sex education towards
teenagers. A purposive quota sampling of 384 respondents in Daerah Petaling has
been drawn during the data collection session and they were asked to answer a questionnaire
on this topic. The influence of peers’ from the aspect of communication, knowledge
and attitude were examined. From this analysis, peers’ knowledge showed a very
significant relationship in this study where p=.000, whereas the communication
(p=.982) and peers’ attitude (p=.099) showed an inverse result. There was no
moderation effect of gender on this study. The study showed that peers’ influence
still would influence the teenagers in terms of knowledge, but the communication
factor and attitude also need some attention on it since it would have its own
impact towards the teenagers.
