Young Malaysian received criticism over low political participation but then Internet had transformed political participation among young people. Internet becomes powerful platform for youth to voice out their concerns in addressing public and political issues and youth related issues. Young Malaysian is seemly aggressive in politics through online instead of conventional forms of politics. However, to what extent the use of Internet enhance the level of political participation among young Malaysian and what are factors that contribute towards online political participation among young people. This research aims to determine the level of online political participation among youth particularly, UiTM Shah Alam students and also to examine factors that influence them to use Internet to involve in political activities. Data were collected using questionnaire that was administered through email and self-administered questionnaire by using convenience sampling technique. A total of 390 responses were received and study found that there is high level of online political participation among students which influenced by political interest, Internet skills and communication factor. Overall, there is no meaning in political participation of young Malaysian through Internet over social media and web if the government not notice and count their voice into political participation and policy making agenda.
