THE INFLUENCE OF MOTIVATIONAL EFFECTS OF CHARISMATIC LEADERSHIP TOWARDS JOB PERFORMANCE OF EMPLOYEES: A STUDY AT POLITEKNIK SULTAN SALAHUDDIN ABDUL AZIZ SHAH


This study is being carried out to investigate the Influence of Motivational Effects of Charismatic Leadership towards Job Performance in Politeknik Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah. It emphasizes on the motivational effects of leader towards the employees’ performance. By conducting this research, the researcher could identify in what extent the motivational effects will affect their performance. There are three motivational effects that have been study in this research which are envisioning, empathy and empowerment. This research also focuses on how those motivational effects work in job performance. Apart from that, this study shows how gender of the leader could be a moderator towards job performance. The validity and reliability of research instruments will be established and data will be collected from non-academic staff in the higher education institution as this research’s respondents. To analyse the data, the Pearson Product Moment Correlation Statistical and Linear Regression tools will be used to identify the relationship between those motivational effects of charismatic leadership with the performance of the employees. Moderator Regression Analysis will be used to interpret gender as moderator towards job performance. Then, this will form the basis of the detailed analysis and conclusion as well as the recommendation.
