In Malaysia, there is an up soaring issue among the employed women’s there is numerous report stated that there is some dropdown in the women’s participation in the workforce. Most of them are highly educated in its countless sectors, where they can give tremendous ideas which can result in the rapid economic growth and development. These situations are totally the biggest loss to our nation as the nation is lost its valuable asset. There are many initiatives had been taken, yet it never solved, make it only 46 per cent of women’s participation in the workforce in Malaysia and it is considered as the lowest participation among women employment compares to the other Asian countries. Hence, there are urgent actions that need to be taken by the
government to satisfy these women and remain them in the workforce. This research purpose is to study on the women’s satisfaction in the employment that affects their affective commitment. Apart from that, this study also examined the most contributing factors that can affect the affective commitment. It specifically studies on among the nurses at Institut Jantung Negara as the sole representative at Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur. The correlation and regression analysis was conducted to answer the research objectives and revealed that all three factors highlighted have a significant relationship with the affective commitment and leader-member relationships had been found as the most contributing factors among all. This study may provide a valuable study in the area of women’s development and participation in the workforce in Malaysia and how the government and organizations can enhance their service delivery to ensure these women remain with their job.
