Since 1996 Malaysia has embraced Information
Technology (IT) to be taken into consideration in nation building. With the
introduction of Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC), business process reengineering
within government administration has taken place. Under MSC’s flagship of
e-Government, many aspects of government process has adopted IT in its routine.
Government services involves interaction between many parties such as
Government to Business, Government to Citizens, Government to Employees and
Government to Government. All this while, most of studies focuses on Government
system that relates with external parties, and seldom for system that involves
Government’s internal process. In this regard, this research aims to study the
acceptance level among government officers on Government’s internal system
which is SPP II. This study was conducted on officers from Ministry of
Transport and related agencies that conducts MOT’s project. This research uses
Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) to obtain its objectives. According to
literature review, a conceptual framework was constucted to illustrate the link
between variables in TAM. Questionnaire on this research were distributed to 47
respondents to represent the population. This research uses Likert-scale
questions to answer the questions relating to the variables. The data collected
were further analysed using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS)
Version 23. Analyses revealed that there is strong relation between independent
and dependent variables in this research. According to the study the are strong
correleation between the variables. Researcher believe that this research can
contribute more to this field of study.
