Teenage pregnancy is a critical issue that is never ending in Malaysia. Instead, it is getting worse every day. It is considered as a social problem and brings negative impact on women and children future. The study examines the factors that contribute towards teenage pregnancy among Malay teenagers in Shah Alam. A random sample of 175 teenagers from Sekolah Agama Menengah Tinggi Tengku Ampuan Jemaah and Raudatus Sakinah in Shah Alan, Selangor were interviewed to obtain the necessary data for this study. The age of teenagers interviewed was from 15 tp 18 years old. The findings showed that the factors of peer group influence and family function contributed significantly towards teenage pregnancy among Malay teenagers in Shah Alam. Peer group influence was also the most dominant factor that contributed towards the problem of teenage pregnancy among the Malay teenagers. Individual, parents, educational institutions and also authorities therefore need to play their representatives roles to help reduce and combat the problem of teenage pregnancy in the country
