Today, having a good quality of life has become a popular issue throughout the world especially among female academicians. The study on quality of life of female academicians was done in response to the current economic situation. The study is conducted to determine the level of quality of life of female academicians and the relationship between quality of life domains towards quality of life of female academicians at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Shah Alam, Selangor. The quality of life domains involve health, working life condition, income distribution and family life. A cross sectional study was employed on 265 sample that were selected using cluster sampling and simple random sampling technique. The data obtained are examined using SPSS Software Version 20.0 for further analysis. The study found that there is a significant relationship between health, working life condition, income distribution and family life on quality of life of female academicians. This results is consistent with the previous study done in the same field. The findings also revealed that the most influential quality of life domains that affects quality of life of female academicians is the family life domain. Thus, it indicates that the support from their family members helps them improve and motivate their performance at work as well as their quality of life. Since the present study only focus on a small sample size, it is suggested that future research be done which would involve wider scope of study involving all academicians including male and female academicians from other universities.
