The aim of this study was to access the level of burnout among the police personnel and to determine the factors that contribute towards burnout among police personnel in the 19th Battalion General Operation Force. The questionnaire have been distributed to 250 personnel in the 19th Battalion General Operation Force through convenience sampling technique. The burnout and stress factors among police personnel were examined. According to the finding there is moderate level of stress among police personnel and work overload is the most influential factor contributes towards stress among police personnel in the 19th Battalion General Operation Force. Several recommendations have been given for the improvement and this result of this study may give information to the government of Malaysia especially the Ministry of Home Affair, Royal Malaysia Police and the 19th Battalion to increase their concern to the police personnel.
