This study examines the importance of tacit knowledge sharing among MARDI Research Officer growing in order to obtain MARDI core business as a research and development Institute for agriculture sector. Tacit knowledge will provide competitive advantages to MARDI to boost agriculture sector as the third economy engine for Malaysia. Sharing tacit knowledge might be influence by MARDI Commitment as the employee and also Trust in Workfellows which stimulate through social network. Presently, MARDI will face loss of organization memory and knowledge due to mandatory retirement and early retirement among its Research Officer. In order to stimulate knowledge sharing among MARDI research Officer, some fundamental are anticipated but these are inevitable without issues involving Procedural Justice, Distributive Justice, Instrumental ties, Expressive Ties and Cooperativeness. This study addresses three main questions. First, the study examines what is the level of willingness to share tacit knowledge among MARDI officer. Next, it explores how Organizational Person, personnel and interpersonal influence willingness to share tacit knowledge. Lastly, it examines whether MARDI Commitment and Trust in workfellows influences the relationship between the organizational-person, personnel, and interpersonal influence on the willingness to share tacit knowledge among MARDI Research Officer. The 118 respondents among research officer participated in this study. This study reveals that the level of willingness to share tacit knowledge is low, therefore it indicated that the MARDI management need to create contusive knowledge culture at workplace.
