The purpose of this study is to investigate the perceptions of parents towards sexual health education in school. The sample comprised 384 and the return surveys only 250 respondents of parents who having children at primary and secondary school at Seri Kembangan. The present study examined the effect of socio demographic background of parents on their perception towards the appropriate time for children to learn sexual health education, appropriate topic should be taught in school, the positive effects of sexual health education to children's knowledge and behaviour and positive consequences to the nation at large. The perceptions were positive and negative.The relationship between the parents' gender, age, ethnicity and education background and their perceptions was investigated.
