Halal food develops rapidly due to various manufacturer involved in producing halal foods to meet the needs of Muslim in Malaysia. Government and JAKIM had created various strategies as well as initiatives to attract the public to consume Halal food. The strict inspections by JAKIM enhance the public trust on the quality of the halal foods. There are several variables that influence the level of public trust in the consumption of Halal food which are certification body, mass media, food quality and company image. Other than that, the role of geographic location in influencing the public trust also tested. The questionnaire was distributed to 384 respondents in Selangor. Thus, based on the result majority of the Malaysians have high level of trust in the consumption of Halal food in Malaysia.
