Basically, it is important for the organization to implement a corporate social responsibility
(CSR) practice in their organization. This is because the organization needs to concern on
various types of stakeholders from internal and external stakeholders. The Bursa Malaysia
has implemented CSR Framework which focuses on marketplace, workplace, community and
environment and it enable the organization to choose which element of CSR that they want to
pursue and report on their annual report. It can be seen that, the CSR implementation at
workplace has been neglected by some organization as they are more focusing on external
CSR. Therefore the aim of this research is to determine how well the organization is
committed to their employee’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) for workplace and what
is the perception of the employees on organizational commitment to internal CSR. Among
the perception that the employees have regarding organization commitment to internal CSR
are training and development, work life balance, health and safety and the environment. The
data consists of 200 respondents from Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB). Based on the findings
of the study, it shows that the training and development are the most important factor that
contributes to the organization's commitment to internal CSR. Besides that, the other factors
also show a positive relationship with the organizational commitment in internal CSR. Thus,
from the result of the study, it is suggested that all organizations must focus on its employees,
CSR at workplace as the employees are the main assets of the company. The organization
needs to enhance their CSR at the workplace as it will help to encourage the employees to
perform well and engage with the company
