Whistleblowing is significant and play an important role to lead a good corporate ethic. Recently, the important of whistleblowing is being recognized because it is used to reduce corruption and avoid unethical conduct that can lead to poor corporate governance. However, there are some concerns or perception towards whistleblowing that hinder the people in organisation to well practicing it. There are some factors that may affect employee’s intention to blow the whistle internally. The purpose of the study was to identify the factor that may affect employee’s intention to internal whistleblowing. There were two factors that have been identified in the study which first, individual factor that focus on employee’s locus of control. The present study explored individual's prosocial behavior to predict employee's intention to internal whistleblowing. Another factor that investigated in the study was organisational factor which focus on ethical climate characterized by principle and benevolence. A set of questionnaire was distributed to 380 employees in Malaysian Public Listed Company as population of the study. The finding of the study revealed that there was a high level intention to blow the whistle internally among employees of Public Listed Company in Malaysia. Besides that, there were positive relation between individual factor which is internal locus of control; and organisational factor which is positive ethical climate characterized by principle and benevolence with employee’s intention to internal whistleblowing. However, between these two factors, individual factor which internal locus of control have strongest influence with employee’s intention to internal whistleblowing. The study also revealed that there were significant differences between genders towards the intention to blow the whistle. Men more likely to blow the whistle compare to female. Researcher found that the finding of the study and also recommendation can contribute in the research area.
