THE RELATIONSHIP OF WORK -LIFE BALANCE PRACTICES AND EMPLOYEES' SATISFACTION. A CASE STUDY IN TELEKOM MALAYSIA (TM) BERHAD, PERAK


Work-life balance is a typical Western idea that addresses an employee’s management of work and life areas. There are social contrasts in Malaysia. The main objective of this study is to identify the factors affecting the employee’s job satisfaction due to work-life balance practices. 201 respondents fromTelekom Malaysia (TM) Berhad took part in answering questionnaires pertaining the issue, and the purposive and convenience sampling method was used. The research shows that work-life balance policies in Telekom Malaysia (TM) Berhad and employee’s job satisfaction correlate with each other. From the findings, the proposed framework is considered valid and some modification are needed due to insignificant effect  of the variables towards dependent variable. The study achieved all the stated objectives and all research questions are answered. Discoveries from this study give a clearer thought of work-life balance that may help in work-life mediations and shed light on the significance of keeping a balanced harmony between these two aspects.
