Human trafficking is one of the issues which may potentially create negative impacts to a
country. Therefore, the objectives of this study are to investigate the relationship between the
geographical location and enforcement which act as the factors fueling the human trafficking
issues in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and to investigate the most influential factor which leads to
human trafficking issues in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The study is a case study that focuses on
the enforcers at Royal Malaysia Police in Bukit Aman and Dang Wangi and Immigration
Department in Kompleks Kementerian Dalam Negeri (KDN), Jalan Duta. A set of questionnaire
has been distributed to the sample of the study which consists of 95 respondents. This research is
a quantitative method and data has been analyzed by using ‘SPSS for Windows’. The finding
revealed that the involvement of authorities which is a sub independent variable of enforcement
is the most dominant factor which contributes to human trafficking in Kuala Lumpur. As
conclusion, the authorities and the people have to work together in order to help the Malaysian
government in fully eradicating this issue
