The study is to examines and identify people perception on
the factors that influence towards sexual objectification of women at Kota
Damansara. Reviews of the literature show that there are few factors that
influenced the sexual objectification of women. Studies done by other
researchers were used as guidelines to determine what factors that can be
tested in this study, and the factors are regarding on the element of sexual
objectification of women which are instrumentality, physical appearance and
west media. Questionnaires were returned to the researcher. Data analysis shows
that significant influence exist between three factors towards sexual
objectification of women in Kota Damansara. Instrumentality emerged as the most
influential factor that lead to the sexual objectification of women at
Damansara.
