Malaysia has experienced rapid growth over the years with the transition from agriculture sector to manufacturing and service sector. However, the changing of the economic structure has caused a rise in unemployment especially among graduates. The objectives of this study were to determine the level of employability of final year students entering the job market, to examine the relationship between employability and maturity dimensions and to analyze the most contributor factors that influence employability of final year students. A questionnaire was used for primary data collection and 272 (54%) out of 500 final year students pursuing their Bachelor’s Degree from the Social Science and Humanities Cluster at Universiti Teknologi MARA (Shah Alam, Puncak Alam, Puncak Perdana, Seremban and Merbok) participated in this study. The findings revealed the level of employability was moderate (4.09) and it’s indicates the soft skills development was not adequate. Besides, there are positive relationships between the seven maturity dimensions and employability among the final year students in UiTM. It is suggested that certain measures to improve soft skills development among final year students will improve their employment in the future.
