The Corporate Governance guidelines, rules and regulations were introduced to guide corporations towards good governance practices. However, the series of corporate scandals seems to be giving the impression that there is something lacking in the present corporation governance practices among the corporations, in particular, the public listed companies. Cases of unethical practices have continue to manifest in corporate organisations. Corporate leaders engage in decisions that have resulted to lack of trust in the organisations leadership, and lack of commitment to organisation’s goals. Thus, the aim of this study is to investigate the employee’s perspective on ethical leadership attributes that influence good governance practice in the organisation. Ethical leadership identifies as a critical vehicle in stimulating good governance practices. The quantitative approach was used to investigate the subject matter. Specifically, convenience sampling was used. The independent variables were ethical leadership attributes (integrity, accountability, transparency, responsiveness, fairness, responsibility) whereas the dependent variable is good governance practices. The questionnaire design in this research is a five-point Likert-type scale was used and was distributed to the employees of Public Listed Companies (PLCs) in trading and service sector located at Shah Alam and Klang area. The data were retrieved by using Statistical Package for the Social Science (SPSS). Result shows that there is a positive relationship between ethical leadership attributes on integrity, accountability, transparency, responsiveness, fairness and responsibility with good governance practices. Moreover, the results also shows that the ethical leadership attributes on responsibility is the most influential for good governance practices.
