Over the years, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has increasingly received its attention. However, in a past practice of many organisations, the focus with regard to CSR had always been closely linked toward the external CSR. Previous literature reviews also revealed that most researchers have focused on external CSR aspects resulting in less attention being focused on the concept of internal CSR. Currently, Malaysia has faced many human resources issues such as high turnover, job dissatisfaction, job stress and others. The purpose of this study is to investigate internal CSR practices as a factor to increase organizational commitment. This study also aim to determine which internal CSR practices (work life balance; training and education; health and safety; human rights; workplace diversity) is the main factor that can helps to increase organizational commitment based on employees‟ perspective. This research is based on the data obtained from a survey questionnaire and was distributed to the employees in Public Listed Companies (PLCs) specifically in trade and service industry with. The data was analysed by using Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS). The results shows that all internal CSR practices namely work life balance, training and education, health and safety, human rights and also workplace diversity has a positive significant relationship with organizational commitment. The findings of this study also reveal that work life balance is the main practice of internal CSR that can influence the organizational commitment.
