The purpose of this present study is to understand the trends and determine the adoption factors of Internet banking especially among the working youth who resides in urban areas in Malaysia. A conceptual model has been adopted based on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). This particular model reacts as an extension of the TAM model as it has a minor adjustment which is more suitable concerning the adoption of Internet banking among the working youth in Malaysia. Primary data was collected using a questionnaire survey participated by 384 individuals. However, only 283 sets of data are useable in drawing the conclusion for this research after gone through the data screening process. As for the analysing processes, this report used IBM Statistics SPSS as the tool to analyse the data. Findings has shown that perceived ease of use was found to be the most influential determinants followed by perceived usefulness, selfefficacy and lastly, perceived risk and security. Apart from that, the findings have also shown that there are significant relationships between the adoption of Internet banking and perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use and self-efficacy, except for perceived risk and security. Hopefully, this study will enable the Internet banking service providers in Malaysia to improve their existing systems in terms of designing new services and at once, to achieve a higher adoption rate in Internet banking especially among the working youth segment.
