Since the partition of 1947, the relations between India and Pakistan have been plagued by numerous historical and
geopolitical events. The states waged four war, including the 1999 Kargil war which the first nuclear test had been
tested by Pakistan. In August last year, numerous new threats have led to the worsening of security conflicts between
India and Pakistan. This research explores several factors that contributed to cross-border terrorism in Kashmir.
Moreover, a peaceful ties between India and Pakistan are the nucleus of peace in the region of South Asia. This study
would use the security dilemma as a theoretical structure to clarify the security dilemma variables that play a part in
the conflicts between India and Pakistan, rendering offensives more favourable to defensive actions in both countries.
The key point in this paper is that India and Pakistan view each other's actions as a challenge for the growth of
defense, nuclear production and partnership patterns, and that both are still in conflict.
