The objective of this study is to examine into the relationship between job satisfaction and staff
loyalty: case study of KPI hospitals in Klang Valley. This research has explored issues
regarding to several independent variables, including rewards, promotions, co-workers,
workload as well as supervision, while the dependent variable refers to the staff loyalty. As a
result, the researcher in this study has adopted quantitative research design, which is through
the use of survey questionnaire as the main instrument to collect the primary data needed from
the respondents. While adopting positive paradigm, the target respondents in this study is
estimated to be at least 341 people, in which they must be belong to employees of medical and
non-medical in all KPJ Hospitals in Klang Valley. Using probability sampling techniques such
as stratified random sampling, the respondents were successfully targeted in this study. From
the findings shown in the regression test in chapter 4, the researcher has found that rewards,
promotions and co-workers remain as the significant factor in this study, as their p-value is less
than 0.05 in the tests, which implies that there is a significant relationship between the 3
independent variables and staff loyalty. While the rest independent variables, such as workload
and supervision have no significant relationship with the staff loyalty, and thus was rejected
from the hypothesis testing.
