This study attempts to examine the effects of job rotation and employees’ job performance in one of local government in Perak which is Majlis Daerah Batu Gajah. It was mainly concerned with assessing, evaluating and ascertaining the overall impact of job rotation on employees’ job performance. From the literature review reveals that, there is a significant relationship between job rotation and employees’ job performance that the skills and knowledge acquired from a job rotations help in improving the efficiency and effectiveness in delivering services. Findings from this study have found that job rotation has a positive relationship to employees’ job performance. But the mediating factor which is the level of stress does not affect the relationship between job rotation and employees’ job performance. This study also has provided several of the recommendations for organization in improving the application of job rotation.
