DETERMINANTS OF TURNOVER INTENTION IN WOONGJIN COWAY (M)SDN BHD: A CASE STUDY IN KLANG VALLEY


The increased number of turnover rate give a big impact towards organization‟ s achievement. This is due to the fact that employee is a main player as a cornerstone of the organization‟s successful. Thus, support from employer is important in order to determine mutual understanding between both parties. This study attempts to identify the determinants of turnover intention which study on the cause of the factors that lead to employee turnover in Woongjin Coway (M) Sdn Bhd. Gender is explored in order to investigate its moderating effects on the relationship between independent variables and dependent variable.
A descriptive study has been used and a cross-sectional survey was conducted by distributed questionnaire in order to collect data within a period of time to investigate the main factors that lead towards turnover intention. The unit analysis of 106 employees of four (4) branches in Klang Valley were randomly distributed through questionnaires.
Standard SPSS statistical measures were used to obtain quantitative information. Based on the findings, only Available Job Alternatives and Work-Life Balance has significant relation with Turnover Intention. The findings stated that Gender have no significant relation as a moderator between independent variables and Turnover Intention.
