Political awareness is partly resulting for learning experience as different student get awareness on politics with different learning style. It is important to all students from different discipline any other programmes such as engineering programmes students that live in the same world but have different learning experiences. Students lack of enthusiasm about national and international politics is not surprising these day and particularly those in private colleges also admit to being uninterested even in elections on campus to select student council representatives who will fight for the rights of students. Thus, political awareness among youth voters requires a basic learning process which creates and promotes understanding of political matters. Youth voters are agents of change which can help transform global education and peace through their awareness in the importance of political decision. It is important to them first to understanding their learning style in order to them measure their self to meet others different style. Diverse of learning style were introduced especially Kolb’s Learning Style and been adopted by several authors. For this study, Kolb’s Learning Style was adopted and the results are correlated with the political awareness and political interest among the youths’ undertaken by the bachelor degree students from the Faculty of Engineering in UITM Shah Alam. Data were collected questionnaires from the index of learning style that have been developed by Kolb’s Learning Questionnaire. A total of 240 students from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Faculty of Electrical Engineering were selected. The result of the analysis shows that the student are mostly are from the Pragmatic Learners and Reflector Learners. There is a significant relationship between reflector and political awareness same goes with pragmatist and political awareness as it is significant correlated. It concluded that the reflector and pragmatist learning style were aware politically in political knowledge. Besides, there is a significant relationship between all learning styles and level of interest in politics as the students with all learning style absolutely have different opinion about the political interest. This shows that there is a gap among students of engineering who love politics and not. As conclusion, the more individual put their interest in politics the higher they are educating themselves about political awareness, while based on the faculty commitment, it shows that the chemical and mechanical engineering students were the most politically aware group of students. This proves that although most of the engineering students are visual learners, some of them are still interested in and has a high level of political awareness and participation.
